What is Home Watch and What Do You Do?
Detailed Visits & Electronic Reports
During each Home Watch and Property Watch visit to your home, we will provide computerized report on what services we performed that day and list of what we observed along with helpful pictures of our visit.
What we look for? If we found something of immediate concern we will call you while we are still on-site to give you the report and pictures and act according to our best practices and or guidance from you.
What are we looking at and why? We are trained to identify irregularities and to catch a damaging situation in the early stages.
- Cycle the water, which includes brushing and flushing toilets,
- Running water in sinks, tubs, and showers, keeping the drain traps wet
- Checking for visible plumbing links under sinks
- Running the dishwasher and washing machine regularly.
- Use flashlight to look at ceilings, visible walls, baseboards looking for signs of water or other damage.
As always, at Solutions Home Watch, we keep a watchful eye on any possible maintenance items that need immediate attention or have it be noted for you and placed on your to do list for when you return home or arrange we can arrange for someone to tackle that for you!

Outside the Property including Garage, Sheds, Lawn or Pools, Pool houses, Kitchens, Pool Baths etc.
Upon arrival we remove any mail and or packages that have been left outside your door so your home does not appear vacant.
- Walk property, looking for visible damage to your home or lawn.
- Visually look at the doors, screens and windows for signs of damage or possible forced entry.
- Outside pool or pool bath area or other structures
- View lawn to see if there are dry spots or possible pets problems, or visual irrigation problems to address.
- Visually Look at outside equipment looking for obvious issues.
What we look for in each room inside your home
Looking at your ceiling, walls and baseboards for possible leaks. Taking notes of other pest problems or possible microbial growth.
Water intrusion, even bugs or critters can happen at anytime and even from neighboring homes.
Heating & Cooling your Home
What we look for with your HVAC is it has to be set to temperatures conducive to your area to keep the proper balance in your home.
If your AC stops working even due to a power outage it can cause high humidity in your home causing Microbial growth. They also must be controlled on location not remotely or programed to your homes wi-fi. In the event of power or internet outages it wont work.
- Mold is a silent yet serious threat, capable of growing in any dark, damp environment with a food source such as wood, leather, or other organic materials.
- While maintaining indoor humidity below 50% is especially important in tropical climates to inhibit mold growth, the risk exists everywhere.
